he’s creating a lot of tension by sayings he’s going to buy greenland and if not obtain it by force? he’s literally posting messages from world leaders on truth social about it. what happened to renee good is terrible but it’s being over shadowed by other appalling shit he does and/or is responsible for

i didn’t say we have to ignore it, i said it’s likely going to be ignored. there’s a difference. i don’t support any of that either, but i was just saying that this is how i think people will respond.

i learned last year when my friend died to gun violence that we don’t get to pick which headlines run and for how long they run. that’s the point i’m making here. not that it’s not important or that it should be ignored. i love when as a country we call out things like what happened to renee good because it’s not okay. but at the same time i can’t control media

I personally appreciated being made aware that he suddenly flipped on her killing. I think ICE shooting a citizen is more significant than saber-rattling that will most likely not happen. The EU has tools at their disposal that will make US companies freak out if used

i’m not disputing that at all. i actually agree with you that’s it’s more important. however the “saber-rattling” seems to be what’s been in my newsfeed more than anything else recently
