i'm glad to hear that you're optimistic. to me this race has just solidified that the government will never reflect my views and therefore i can't stay here anymore. i mean i was never planning to stay forever but i'm speeding up the process as much as i can now. props to you for staying, you're a lot more resilient than me 🫡

I mean I never said I’m staying lol, but this is not proof the gov will never reflect your views frankly that’s kinda a silly way to view it, especially since Florida has been a swing state

florida has not had a democratic governor since the 90s and i think that tells you all you need to know. yes we've voted blue in presidential elections but in terms of state government that really makes a bulk of the decisions here the state is pretty damn red

Not today clearly. We had almost 4 million votes for a full blown democratic socialist who had 0 support from the national Democratic Party.

It’s ok. Florida was a necessary sacrifice to make New Jersey mostly blue. It’s kinda like a yin and yang deal.
