I want to agree but this is honestly a bad argument. You know antisemitism refers to discrimination against Jews. Many of the terms we regularly use are inaccurate (like caucasian) but that doesn't make it fair to dismiss people's claims on the basis of them using the common definition.

That’s not how words work. “Antisemitism” was a word coined to refer to Jews (not by Jews by the way).

Jews are indigenous to Judea and were expelled by Romans roughly 2,000 years ago. As they spread to several places around the world, do you think it’s possible that they reproduced with people of different origins to the point where future generations don’t exactly look like their ancestors, but still share that common ancestor?
