I hope that progressives are smart enough to realize the importance of the 2nd amendment but I guess we’ll see, I still think they’d do better than shitlibs who think guns should be as inaccessible as possible

Communists understand that violence could and almost certainly will be necessary to dismantle capitalism, liberals think they can eat brunch and vote blue no matter who their way into some utopia, so I would have to disagree with you on that. Voting blue no matter who isnt going to lead us anywhere, and no I dont think having unrestricted access to something that can take a life in a second should be a human right, if you can prove youre sane and maybe have a genuine reason to own a gun then sure you can have one, there are plenty of viable forms of self defense that aren’t guns and arent lethal

Requiring background checks and some form of mental health or insanity screening is a super simple step and it would still allow most ppl access to guns, literally just prevents deadly weapons from falling into the hands of potentially dangerous people, like you, probably. You can’t drive a car without a license because it’s dangerous right?
