I wouldn’t have a problem with trans if their whole thing wasn’t to get a certain thrill from being able to pull a fast one on straight dudes

I’ve only ever met one in real life and they basically tried to pull a fast one on my friend. Then they tried to claim we were transphobic after we got pissed that they weren’t honest

I think you should be honest and upfront and let people know you are trans If you “pass”. Deliberately not doing so is not cool, fucked up and can jeopardize yours and other ppls safety.

It’s as simple as “hey I’m trans, are you cool with that”. If they are then good. If not then at least you were honest. Don’t try to mislead them if you pass

Why get pissed? Why not just say "hey im not into that" and move on? Idk any trans person that would call you transphobic for sexual preferences unless you were being transphobic about it

Did this person claim to be cis, or were you just pissed they didn’t disclose it up front? Because at least 9/10 times I hear this story, it’s really the second one.

Nondisclosure isn’t misleading in almost any circumstance. The fact that you have unreasonable opinions doesn’t obligate anyone else to submit themselves to that standard.

Yes If they had disclosed up front then my friend would’ve just said “hey I’m not into that but nice to meet you ect ect…” But they didn’t My friend danced with them all night and ended up making out with them. They knew my friend didn’t know they were trans and capitalized off it. To lie by omission is still lying Literally some other kids had to come up and tell us you know that’s a trans right? That’s why we were pissed. It’s the lying and dishonestly about who you are.

They didn’t disclose it. That’s a pretty fucking big and important thing to not disclose. Especially when they guy is a straight man

Bro if they disclosed it we would’ve still been so cool and probably still had bought them a drink. But I don’t fuck with that lying and pulling a fast one

Thats still not wrong of them? Your friend could've asked if it was such a stipulation to him. You're not entitled to know whats in people's pants the moment you meet them

Also the fact that you keep calling a trans woman "them" tells me everything i need to know

Bro what? Yes you are entitled to know that especially if you are dancing with them and might end up taking it to the next level or do something sexual. That’s pretty fucking important

I was being respectful lol. I didn’t want post their name or assume their pronouns

And again, if that was a stipulation, all he had to do was ask. Acting like trans people get off to turning people on just because your friend wasn't clear about his boundaries is weird

Why would he ask if 99.99% of girls at the club are not trans. It’s your responsibility to identify yourself if you know everybody in the place is “cis” and assume each other is “cis”

No, it isn’t. Your transphobia is not ANYONE’S responsibility to babysit.

I just think it’s important. Only takes 1 second. And everybody better off. And that’s my point why are you so adamant on everybody not knowing. Not sure if you are a trans man or women but let’s say you go home with someone that thinks you are cis and they find out you are trans when yall make it home. You just gained nothing and put your life and safety in jeopardy.

If those boys didn’t tell my friend and he ended up going home with the trans person he could’ve did something really stupid and end up in jail all because they couldn’t say 1 sentence.

Then that would be your friend‘s fault if he can’t control himself from doing something that sent him to jail.

It’s also pretty fucking awful that you’re painting the whole community negatively with a broad brush.

Jesus dude, you think its a trans person's fault that your friend can't get a grip on his boundaries and emotions? And that it'd be her fault that he does something fucked up to her? Take some fucking accountability for yourselves

And then he’s shocked when trans people don’t go around advertising with a neon sign like no shit dude some of you people are just itching to beat the shit out of us best case scenario.

This too. The majority of trans women i know are lesbian. Acting like trans people transition to "pull a fast one" because his friend couldn't just man up is insane

At that, the majority of trans women i know are dating each other lmao. This post reads like a bigot making up a fake story to feel justified in being transphobic
