The fate of global economies are intertwined with Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. By providing aid the US would be securing access to a key economic resource for its cotizens

Supporting Americans means supporting Taiwan. You don’t enjoy the fruits of cheap electronics and a booming tech industry if you don’t have influence in the flow of semiconductors
