You don't have empathy. You extend care conditionally. Empathy cannot be conditional. Empathy happens when you understand someone from THEIR eyes not yours.

I used to think they are inherently hateful but I was gravely mistaken and I realize now that they are misled and misheard. The entire problem is that we keep voting AGAINST each other instead of voting FOR the things that we DO already agree on. There is much more common ground than you think but you can't see it when you squeeze your eyes shut out of fear.

i do understand the problem, this country has systemic racism issues and the trump administration has spurred that. they don't care about people being murdered by "federal officers" because they think them less than human, less than them. yes they are in part brainwashed but i don't believe that that justifies anything at all
