And I feel like we need to emphasize modern day. Because Teddy has a lot of flaws, many reflective of his time. He was a racist, an imperialist, and these days we have a more advanced idea of what conservation means, which now includes indigenous people.

I don’t believe ALL of his imperialism was that bad, but I’ll definitely give you that. We could use some consumer protectionism about now…
