The free market is like highly radioactive material. It can be quite useful when kept tightly contained and used for the good of everyone, but if it isn’t properly constrained, it kills everyone and ends the world.
The free market & the regulation thereof isn't the problem, it's when the whole system (the government for a large part) encourages the soulless and discourages the moral.

Capitalism is antithetical to free markets though. It can ONLY survive on the continual violent suppression of workers’ negotiating power and willful maintenance of an underclass in service to capital-owning parasites.

Thats a good way of putting it too. It obviously matters how and why its regulated. In my opinion it should be regulated to direct resources towards making sure everyone has their needs met and towards building an educated civilization.
