Yes advocate the authoritarian government to increase the difficulty of getting a gun, when we should be preparing for a possible confrontation with authoritarian politicians. When will you guys understand that this is not a normal time, gun laws are not always negative but this is not a good time to be advocating for them.

Dude all I’m saying is not in this administration what do you not get. This is like saying we need more limitations on freedom of speech when you have Mussolini in power, it’s not that the discussion is not worth having but that the government you propose it under will abuse it.

“Gun Control Laws”. It’s quite literally in the name. Gun laws are used to CONTROL the people and infringe upon their rights. The 2nd amendment is the ONLY amendment that specifically says “shall not be infringed”. Tools (guns) are not the issue. The issue is the person. Murder would still happen without guns (at the same or a slightly different rate). Even if they were outlawed today, it wouldn’t change anything.
