Honestly waiting and watching for midterms. Some shit will inevitably go down, and I think that’ll be the breaking point for more Americans. Regardless, we have to stay ready for whatever insidious shit the GOP is planning. I mean hell, they might instigate a coup

Renee goods death was sad and undeserved but she drove into a law enforcement officer, after being given many many orders to stop. Her death although could have been avoided, was her own fault for hitting a officer

“Undeserved” and “her own fault” aren’t exactly compatible. Also Ross should have never placed himself in front of the car, that’s literally officer-created jeopardy and against law enforcement guidelines

I agree. I just think more onus is on the officer who’s trained to handle situations like that versus a mom trying to drive home

Or, should be trained. He clearly wasn’t. His reaction after the fact is more than enough proof of his bad faith actions

I agree with that the training should be more rigorous and with it dealing with an environment with citizens it should be extensive and in depth. Though part of the reason he did react like that is because he was hit intentionally by a car earlier as well.

The problem is that this DHS wants poorly trained officers out on the streets to terrorize people. They slashed training from 72 to 42 days and have been mass recruiting with little oversight. ICE needs to be destroyed in its current iteration. It is nothing more than a terroristic federal apparatus. DHS has admitted to setting quotas of 3000 detentions per day, leading to the arrest of citizens and protected immigrants as well.
