It actually makes them more dumb because they think they are being enlightened, but it’s all useless junk in their heads piled up that they don’t really know how to process properly. They can repeat things though so they think they’re smart.

That’s important and is a problem but they’re still more trustworthy than Joe? I don’t see how that’s relevant. There being problems with doctors doesn’t mean Joe can be trusted to diagnose cancer.

Its true that you shouldn’t blindly believe people just because they present themselves as an expert because people can lie about their background or spreading misinformation but that doesn’t mean never trust any experts
