My thought process with that specifically is this: Trump’s DOJ is the one redacting and releasing these. Why would they want to push that narrative? If anything we saw them actually remove things that didn’t have his face redacted. The whole point was to redact victims. After all the weird sexual comments he’s made about his daughter, would it be all that surprising if he took her to the island? Why else would it be associated with the files?

I can understand not trusting it after seeing something faked. I feel the same way after they tried to sneak out that unredacted file, what else are they trying to hide? Ultimately the solution to both is full transparency. But in this case, you can see records tied to an actual, real case. A woman died, and the details surrounding it are pretty shady. It lends some credibility, I’d say
