The oil in Venezuela is basically impossible to extract. It’s too heavy for normal extraction methods and requires pumping lighter oil into the ground and mixing it up to extract. So extremely unlikely big companies would want to invest in an expensive and politically unstable region anyway

Of course you can’t use their fucking oil in our cars, but we have the complex refineries it requires. It’s just more expensive and time consuming. But oil is oil even if it’s low quality🤦🏼‍♂️like where are you even getting your information?
