Okay this is funny to me because, you know who puts up pride parades? Gay people. Veterans and military families can organize their OWN pride parades for their service. And trust me, gay people appreciate those who have served this country as they risked their lives for ours to free. I am a gay person who is eternally grateful for the sacrifice service members make and hope to be one one day.
