no i don’t disagree with their supposed ideological differences, just that in practice, democratic ‘socialist’ parties have yet to yield a transition to socialism and have instead aligned themselves with social democratic parties in the maintenance of a ‘regulated’ capitalism

ahhhh I might’ve misunderstood you initially, I thought you were discussing the ideological differences rather than their effect once implemented; my apologies! in that regard, I do see what you mean, and honestly I’m not sure whether democratic socialism can actually achieve the transition out of capitalism, in comparison to a more forceful redistribution of wealth and seizing of the means of production, but I digress. the only reason I made the post in the first place is because I’ve seen
