New immigration enforcement idea: All illegals apprehended by law enforcement are sent to Minnesota instead of being deported to their home country. After all, this should be supported by Minnesotans considering y’all love illegals so much

Not trying to own anyone? I kind of meant this as a joke but also kind of mean it literally. Like if residents of Minnesota don’t want immigration enforcement in their communities, then they should be totally willing to take in illegal immigrants from other states who don’t want them, right?

I’m not familiar with that particular instance. But, DHS has slandered people as gang members who were not multiple times in the last year, so I think the unfettered lying in the administration has undermined the public trust to a point where people have a knee-jerk reaction to reject or accept their allegations based on politics, even though it’s always a mix of truths, half-truths, and lies when government agencies mislead.

People admittedly didn’t have the facts in that one and the media was honestly pretty slow about it. The fact that a Venezuelan gang was present in Portland, of all places, seemed unlikely. There was also the *fact* that ICE did not call for medical assistance after shooting them. That is completely beyond the pale. Even local cops administer first aid until the ambulance gets there, even if it’s a criminal

The bottom line is today’s tragedy was caused by the failed city and state leadership who has fought the federal government every step of the way. This has resulted in overworked agents being harassed, assaulted, lied about, and screamed it in chaotic environments 24/7. Of course mistakes were going to be made. Democrats made the city into a powder keg waiting to explode and let their citizens get caught in the crossfire
