I think it’s actually a mix. There are many people who are still very racist, homophobic, cares about nobody but themselves and feel validated by trump but I agree I’ve also realized some are just GENUINELY stupid or egos are too big they won’t admit when they’re wrong

This was the first election that made me genuinely resent sharing a democracy with other Americans. Everything that’s happened was just so predictable, and voters fell for all of it

I really thought they knew. I really thought they were really just THAT hateful, they wanted to live in a hellscape dystopia of white supremacy and Christian Nationalism. It really broke my brain, coming to terms with the fact that they actually just got duped. Bc to me, only a clinically r*tarded person could ever possibly...... Which then sends one down the rabbit hole of how this mass terminal stupidity of Americans was carefully cultivated. USA society breeds it

1000% people who encourage diversity are naturally smarter because we learn so much from those around us and those who are different from us. It really helps u learn so much about the world, people, cultures, even just random information you wouldn’t know if ur racist and miss out on some very interesting conversations. Diversity is so fucking beneficial to society and it pains me that people think otherwise
