It’s not employees fault that everyone is “nomads” now.
It’s crappy benefits, no training, and no retirement / pension. There’s no incentive for loyalty. And to get a raise you need to get a new job
There’s that and the fact that it’s (apparently) significantly easier to just negotiate for a higher salary at your new job instead of trying to get a raise at your current one

At least in tech. Not entirely sure what you mean by “now”. Since maybe 2018/2019 I noticed most people in tech on LinkedIn don’t stay at the same company for more than 5 years, but I’m not sure if that’s because interest rates were low and everyone was hiring like crazy
