A lot of people in cities don’t even understand where food and drinkable water comes from. Also, you’re discounting so much important shit. Textiles, agriculture, roads, the fucking wheel…. Cities?! Really???

Throughout all of human history, that has taken place in cities. Cities as in humans living in dense spaces to better use resources. We are so far removed from everything because we build miles upon miles upon miles of suburbs eating up all of the land rather than living densely and conserving wild lands so that ranchers and farmers have plenty of space to do their work.
