I really wanna know what world the Christian conservative types who think they’re not allowed to perform their religious sacraments are living in. There is an entire body of Constitutional law saying religious people are allowed to do their rituals.
Catholic guy on my local news: “Theyre letting illegal aliens into the country but we cant pray the rosary! Catholic guy 2 seconds later: “Stop using the church for your political platform!!”

“My religion is being oppressed!! People wont say merry Christmas!!” “Happy Hanukkah? Why would I say that, that’s their religion!”

Motherfuckers will come in your job and say “Merry Christmas” in the nastiest tone if you hit them with a “Happy Holidays” because you’re alternating between holiday greetings because saying “Merry Christmas” 100+ times in a row kinda takes the merriment out of it

The funniest was when I worked at a mom and pop Italian restaurant and people would be on their culture war shit thinking my boss told me not to say Merry Christmas. Like, my sister in Christ, there is a tree in the lobby, Christmas decorations all over the restaurant, and the owner is a Catholic Italian man. No I have not been brainwashed by woke into saying multiple holiday greetings at my job.

They probably would’ve firebombed you if you told them the owner was a Catholic

Nah there’s a lot of Catholics where I live, our local Catholic Church was the biggest congregation in America at one point, which you wouldn’t expect because it’s in a Southern city, not like Boston or New York or something.

Now, that’s mostly because those cities have multiple Catholic congregations, and Charlotte’s ONLY got St. Matt’s so they get the city’s entire Catholic population instead of segments of it, but that was still a surprising statistic to me
