I think they’re just obsessed with personal responsibility over having society fix your problems, which is good for them personally but it makes their politics stupid. Which both are true you should have personal responsibility but you should also use our systems to make people’s lives better.

There was some study or poll that was done a couple of years ago on it. I’m not sure if it was “leftists” or “liberals” but the study was basically saying right wingers were happier because of religion and not being as existential.
