I looked into whether there are donations and it’s actually pretty strict 😭 can’t give them anything while they’re on duty, can’t be a cash equivalent (visa gift card vs Starbucks gift card), max value is $20, yearly limit is $50 (not sure how this works but I saw it mentioned somewhere)

Agreed. We've already seen how privatizing the prison system has led to systemic fuckery. Imagine the problems that this will cause for those trying to travel safely.

Gift card max value is $20***. Seems like people are setting up gift card drives and then the TSA supervisors distribute the gift cards or auction them (wtf?). Clothes and food are fine though
