Russia is another good example of an ethnocracy that is technically not an ethnostate. Even Israel ain’t really an ethnostate considering it has a significant Arab and Druze population but sure doesn’t absolve them of their war crimes against Palestinians.

Fair. I call out Israel but I’m not going to defend Pakistan being an Islamic state (whether you want to call it an ethnostate or theocracy I don’t care, it’s still oppressive to minorities)
