So are we just supposed to assume they’re all a lost cause? Furthermore, how do you believe this kind of rhetoric doesn’t further polarize things? I’m not going to pretend that the GOP is full of saints but I find this line of thinking to be more harmful than helpful personally

I know but it still has to be said. Your parents might love you and care about you even if you’re Jewish, but if your parents support the SS eventually you’ll end up with your head on the block.

It is further polarizing. I would like to separate myself from the political ideology invented by pedophiles to normalize pedophilia. Also no. Nobody is a lost cause. But you should still hate them until they fix themselves.

I don’t diagree that the GOP’s platform is based upon the normalization of pedophilia and that the people supporting it are 100% incorrect, misguided and often just downright evil. But hating them? The whole person? I feel like that doesn’t help at all. People don’t respond to hate by going “damn you guys really don’t like this, I should change,” they usually go “fuck you all, now I’m even more committed because I have people who support me even when you don’t.”
