Gun culture is far far worse than anything most governments on earth have ever done. This imaginary tyranny is never happening. The legacy of the second amendment alone shows that the american revolution was a terrible mistake.

They're enforcing the laws the people's representatives enacted. The state is allowed to use force during law enforcement when necessary
