same but i’m muslim. i think i would’ve viewed God as an actual man in the sky instead of the omnipotent, benevolent higher power He is. i definitely would’ve become agnostic. i don’t understand how white christians twisted Jesus’ teachings so much

Which is sad because Christianity can be a beautiful thing but the way Christian nationalist twist words and just don’t even follow the word of god is ridiculous. Sorry the church let you down

hope i’m not being offensive, my mom is christian (not white) so i’m familiar with some of the teachings. i’m only speaking on it since they’re both abrahamic faiths

I actually struggle with this concept myself too!! As a Catholic my priest has said that it’s normal, especially as young adults to question our faith in god, the son, and the holy sprit. I keep my faith in god because of all the things he’s done for me and my family. It’s also a huge part of Hispanic culture.

I’ve seen how white Christianity, specially Protestant or non denominational churches have twisted or don’t even follow the word of Jesus. They say one thing in church, then don’t follow it outside of church, which is something we all struggle with obvi but so many are just filled with hate, they hate Catholics and even think we are pagan. It’s just from what I’ve seen an especially this year that Trump has been in office.
