The first two killers got arrested and charged. The government is trying to prevent the last killers (who were government employees) from facing prosecution. And the right wing is saying the murder victims deserved it. Those are fundamentally different things.

The people in office are not calling Laken Riley and Iryna Zarutska domestic terrorists. Their killers have received the justice they deserve and they even used Laken Riley’s name to further enforce border control. Renee Good and Alex Pettri are enduring a massive smear campaign because their killers are being protected by the government.
