I would describe this as the “Charlie Kirk phenomenon,” where conservatives view qualified brown people or women in positions and can’t accept that they are qualified to be there. Instead to account for their misogyny and racism they have to make up ways they got there undeservingly. Meanwhile to them all the mediocre white men in positions of power automatically deserve it.

A good example is the comparison of Ketanji Brown Jackson and Brett Kavanaugh. One is extremely well qualified but was heavily scrutinized for being a brown woman. The other is a partisan sex pest but is a white man.
