im not cheering for it but i definitely have a different perspective than you on it. she said, with capitalization, "America First" six times in her resignation letter. she hasnt disavowed much, if anything, aside from her support for trump and the republican party -- which adds to the concern

I don’t mind the slogan America first at all. I would hope my politicians would put my country first. Maybe if they had throughout history be able to afford life

yea so the thing is, that slogan is increasingly being used not because "i want america to be put first" but because its the slogan of nick fuentes, a neo nazi white supremacist christian nationalist (mtg is open about being that last one). especially since charlie kirk died, nick fuentes and his "groyper army" (neo nazi followers of his) have been getting a lot more attention and publicity, and so their slogan has caught on more.
