you do realize they get bombed all the time constantly right. like most civilian houses in israel have their own bomb shelters built in specifically because they are constantly getting bombed. i get opposing israel but we should oppose israel for factual reasons not made up ones

That’s what happened to the gulf countries and US bases instead, because we moved those air defenses to Israel 😭

It’s terrorism and antisemitism against the poor defenseless state of gods chosen people :(

Lowkey don’t have the energy to retype an unclickable link but thanks for sending it. I get that there’s a complex history of conflict in the region but it’s not debatable that Israel is the first to strike in many of the more recent aggressions in the region. There’s very good reasons they’re constantly getting rockets shot at them.

Maybe if Americans didnt spend so much money on their air defenses they’d actually have to find out that there is a price for blowing up all their neighbors

I appreciate it! Doesn’t really change my point tho I don’t think, Israel still feels like they’re entitled to meddle in every other middle eastern counties affairs without consequence. They feel as though they deserve to possess illegal nuclear weapons while Iran can’t. They being much of this hatred on themselves

also that’s a horrible thing to say and also just wrong, the more desperate israel is the more out of control it gets

the rockets and bombs launched at Israel are overwhelmingly aimed at civilian areas. if it wasn’t for the air defenses, there would be thousands or even hundreds of thousands of civilian casualties

Dude that is so dishonestly framed. Most of the actors firing weapons at Israel have somewhat primitive weapons and lack detailed target intelligence. Israel on the other hand has one of the greatest intelligence collecting agencies in the world and has surgically precise weapons yet constantly butcher civilians. They kill these civilians very intentionally. Look up their suite of ai targeting systems, “lavender”, “where’s daddy” and one more I forgot the name of

They basically allow Israel to know down to the person how many civilians will die in any given strike. Every time they execute a 5 year old or a paramedic it is intentional

i know about israel’s targeting systems and i think they’re abhorrent. i also know they’re not as accurate or comprehensive as you think. but you’re wrong about israel’s enemies— they don’t have as much precision as israel does, but they have enough to know whether they are aiming at military or civilian areas. and even when they don’t have much control over where their bombs land, using them against areas with civilians in them is indiscriminate bombing and a war crime

Ok let me back up a bit because you’re right, sometimes they (Iranians and other middle eastern powers) do target civilian areas and when they do that is a war crime. My knee jerk reaction to this framing comes from the fact that Israel is the largest exporter or terror and precise civilian executions in the area. It feels somewhat disingenuous to cast Iranians as monsters for this when they are simply operating with a fraction of the intentional war crimes that Israel is

I mean you can read about how the IDF determined that 10 civilians are acceptable collateral to one suspected foot soldier of Hamas, the connection there itself only being determined by an ai system with zero meaningful human oversight.

except it’s not sometimes, it’s all the time— every volley from Iran targets civilians, even as their weapons have been getting more sophisticated. and i don’t know why you think israel is the largest exporter of terrorism when it’s Iran that runs and finances a global network of terror proxies and has multiple proxies along Israel’s borders. i did read about how the IDF decided, after October 7th, to consider 10 civilians an acceptable price for a Hamas footsoldier, and i was horrified

but i also read about how strict their protocols for avoiding civilians had been before, and how the decision to loosen those restrictions, however appalling i think it may be, was taken because they felt they needed to target Hamas faster. it was still horrific, but when Iran launches at civilian areas, they often are attempting to kill civilians purely for the sake of killing civilians
