Their whole point of the deportation is “they come here and commit MORE crime.” Them coming here is only an excuse to keep them locked up.

#1 phrases it poorly, but you do commit a crime illegally entering so it doesn’t matter if their record is clean, they commit a crime.

If you think that the adequate punishment for coming here to pick the food that you put on your table for shit pay without papers is this brutal, dehumanizing, foreign prison, then you seriously need to think about why you believe that. Deportation? Sure, even that I believe is extreme for the crime they committed, but I see an argument there. But this… this is inhumane.

Not necessarily. Many people who are he without documentation didn’t initially arrive illegally, and overstayed visas. That is not a crime.

Its not a crime. Its a civil offense like a parking ticket. You would not have a criminal record if you got a parking ticket
