Every single one of us should be learning methods for disarming people when they have a gun pointed at you, or just have one in general. It will come in handy as the facade continues to fall, and the oppression increases.

The idea of “disarming” someone who’s actively pointing a gun at you is far more likely to get you killed than protect you. Wait for them to turn around or lower their guard, draw as fast as you can, and shoot without hesitation.

Ignore anything you have learned about that. You have to get control of a gun they have to squeeze a trigger. Just comply and hope somebody else with a gun can save you. 100 meter dash is also a good self defense move to practice

Tbh this too! I was thinking along the lines of if you weren’t armed and faced with someone aiming a weapon at you, but this is a great point.

How about you just do the sensible thing and stay in your house? Avoid situations that would cause this situation to arise. Some examples would be avoiding sketchy neighborhoods and areas at night. Lock your car doors when driving and stay vigilante. Don’t go to protests where you think violence will occur. Don’t go to parties where people might bring guns. Those should be your first steps in avoiding being shot. Also be careful in schools and always know your entrances, exits and hiding places.

Staying away from most busy public areas can also help to mitigate risk.
