Feels weird that your posting this right after a synagogue in America was attacked… feels kinda fake ngl.
just delivered pizza to a synagogue. Had security stop me before I opened the door demanding the pizza and asking who it was for. I told them and asked politely if I could deliver it to my customer and bro acted like i killed his first born.

They’re saying your story at the door sounds fake. Or at least your interpretation. Of course security is going to be weary, another synagogue was just attacked.

Also your comment about the tipping and what you were playing at with the ‘never’ comment didn’t go unnoticed dude.

That’s fair I don’t actually have proof of that. He just denied me entry and got really mad when i asked

Gee I wonder why?

I would hope not. That’s why I added it. Very rare for someone to not tip. JUST happens to be that person. WEIRD

Ok, let’s assume this is even true. What would it have to do with religion, even if you were telling the truth?

why someone would get mad for me asking to deliver pizza to the person that bought it? idk you’re right. I’ve delivered pizza to cops on an active swat standoff before

Something tells me that wasn’t the issue. And usually cops aren’t taking pizzas inside the closed zone of a standoff.

He was joking lol, I’m Jewish and I don’t really care, it was clearly not said out of hatred

which part? I mean if I got stopped by a security guard at a church i would have posted that too. The tip part was targeted yeah but this didn’t really have anything to do with specific religion. getting denied entry to a place of worship is weird regardless. but ig it makes sense given the attack

On a Thursday afternoon with no planned services when another synagogue has been attacked, it makes sense not to want to bring in people specifically demanding to be inside when there’s no need. If you had showed up for a meeting with the rabbi, they’d have welcomed you in with open arms.

They ordered it and I wasn’t walking up to the swat guys, a cop met me and i handed it to him

Right, just like the security guard at the door of the synagogue

I mean that’s also fair, i just want to make it clear I didn’t see the info about the attack until after I posted this

And yet you’re still wondering why they would be apprehensive even after you found that out

yeah because he could just have said “sorry we aren’t letting anyone in right now for safety concerns” but instead he was a rude asshole. It’s like one school getting shot up and every school in the country going on lockdown and still being rude about it like it happened an hour before just be nice

I think you only interpreted it that way.

that is typically how social interactions is perceived emotions work buddy. When someone is being rude to you you are typically the one that perceives it as rude or not. When a person hells no in my face and grabs the pizza out of my hands and scoffs and turns around without saying anything else me personally i consider that rude. It’s completely fair if you consider it grace and kindness though because it’s about how you perceive it because that’s how emotions work
