And it’s obviously not patriotism strictly in the sense that people support the current admin (typically the opposite actually), but in the sense that New York almost better represents the US than what’s going on in DC does right now

Like public transit? Pretty clearly the best in the US imo, haven’t traveled a whole lot elsewhere so hard for me to compare internationally
