The idea that the US should just sit on its hands and watch as the rest of world violates human rights is an incredibly dumb take. I’m glad that Trump isn’t doing that. Regime change is far from ideal, but it’s actually bogus to say it’s never necessary.

most of the us regime changes is just installing an authoritarian government that also violates human rights but is just more friendly to us corporate interests in the region

How dumb do you have to be to believe that Trump, or more generally America, is a defender of human rights?

Human rights abuses like double tapping boats in the ocean or sending people to camps in countries they aren’t from.

Trump has done more than any president in quite a long time to protect human rights

I agree with you on that, but the problem isn’t that all regime change is bad, the problem is that we have corrupt insiders that successfully botched our operations in the past.

Also, regime change is highly difficult when dealing with radical islamist populations

Just to name a few, he’s preventing deadly drugs from entering the country, preventing the government from using tax dollars against the people’s consent, and he’s building barriers to prevent the left from directly censoring or forming techno-feudal monopolies to censor opposing views.

So China has drug prevention is that a human right? If that’s the standard then literally every country is pro human rights. Our government hasn’t been using tax dollars without people’s consent doge found nothing it was recently disbanded not reaching anywhere near its goal. Like how Trump has been ordering the FCC to go after people who say things he doesn’t like.

Trump has also been taxing us without the consent of congress through tariffs after lying to the American people that it was paid by other countries.
