Based on the lawsuit, which mentions the essays only once in passing, it seems likely that the two people expelled were the two that gave her ketamine. I presume the others, if the essay part is true, wrote about how they shouldn't have been in that situation and let it happen. As you may know, in New York the law on rape has a loophole on "voluntary intoxication", and if she made a sworn statement that she was neither forced to use drugs nor gang-raped, there's not a lot that can be done.
