Women are more likely to be assaulted by someone close to them than a stranger. A legal citizen will most likely be assaulted by another legal citizen unless most of their peers are undocumented. I’m not a no borders guy but there isn’t a connection here.
Damn im gonna be honest, how are you pro no borders AND pro women

Ppl who try to claim the left is “pro no borders” are idiots that don’t understand the asylum process and always conveniently leave out Biden’s border bill rejected by the GOP at Trump’s order. The left is pro path to citizenship that doesn’t involve paying an impossible sum of money for most

Per capita US citizens are 100 times more likely to be the victim of an illegal than an illegal is to be a victim of a citizen. If they break the law to come into the country they’re already not upstanding citizens. If you’re not a citizen become one or leave.

We have several instances this year of illegal immigrants murdering people… An illegal guy beheaded someone a few months ago

No, women are more likely to report being assaulted by someone close to them than a stranger. Big difference

Can we not infer that what OP said is likely true also? Hell, I wonder if assaults from known perpetrators are reported less often than unknown perpetrators

No, women feel more comfortable getting away with a lie when it’s somebody they know that they’re lying about

Either I’m misunderstanding or this seems counterintuitive

The majority of sex trafficking is also done by people close to the victim, the popular image of women and children who get kidnapped off the streets and sold is much rarer

No, simply no. Strict border policies actually caused human trafficking to increase under Trump. If you’re getting persecuted or threatened with murder in your own country, you’re going to do whatever it takes to get to safety. That includes trusting shady individuals if the government denies your visa or makes you wait too long. Those shady individuals often end up being part of human trafficking networks. https://time.com/5905437/human-trafficking-trump-administration/

Homie I even said I wasn’t anti-borders lmao I just said that women are more likely to be assaulted by someone already known to them. My only gripe is presenting these two ideas as if there is a direct correlation when the reality is more nuanced. People love simple and easily manipulated stats bc it’s easier than understanding the psychology that makes rape unfortunately common in our society. Deport them all and still every woman you know will likely be harassed or assaulted in her lifetime.
