Cyclospora comes from contaminated food. It literally says on the official CDC website to wash your produce and your hands to prevent it. I’m sorry you’re so stupid that you don’t think to look on official websites for prevention methods and instead just rely on what the news tells you.

Guys I’m sorry can someone explain why washing the lettuce isn’t a good idea? I understand specifically why but the alternative of boiling which you aren’t supposed to do with produce because that breaks the fibers which is fine for some food items but definitely not lettuce

It’s common knowledge that cooking can kill basically anything, there are TONS of other credible sources saying you have to cook it to guarantee you are don’t get infected.
