I think we just have to moderate it, and make billionare pay their share towards the lower and middle classes, destroying it completely isn’t really intuitive in a country that relies on consumerism and free trade as much as we do

“Their share” is literally the whole of their gains from capitalist exploitation. Capitalism is not the only way to have free trade and it must be dismantled.

I disagree with that, the middle class is shrinking, and capitalism has done a lot of harm. I just think realistically overhauling capitalism wont happen in America ever

Agree. I think certain institutions should shift away from a strictly for-profit model & that ultimately, the system should end up in a place where everyone is getting their basic needs provided for. Whether those things result in the dismantling of capitalism or not, I don’t really care as long as they happen
