Per common fucking sense AND DOJ policy, a vehicle IS DEADLY FORCE. This is the most BASIC concept in policing and threat assessment. It is why they make SUCH a big deal about these kinda cases/ situations, as a lot of people don’t comprehend the immense danger a 2 ton vehicle can do to a person standing there.
Ah yes, mischaracterizing the situation because YOU decided the vehicle isn’t a threat to bodily harm. That statute CLEARLY defines the situation of someone running. Just bc she turned her tire AFTER charging the officer, doesnt magically make it fleeing. She charged at an officer in a vehicle, THAT IS LETHAL FORCE. The officer responded. Hell I wish he didn’t, I think he overreacted personally, but LEGALLY he is in the right. She was also there INTENTIONALLY antagonizing them, escalating it
Ah yes, I present a nuanced take beyond “she was in car deserved to die boot lick yay” and you can’t fucking comprehend it and run away. The act of OBVIOUSLY impeding, antagonizing, and speeding toward an officer in ANY capacity is OBVIOUSLY a threat. In fantasy world the officer should have let her risk his life and done nothing. In the real world (in my opinion) he reacted too harshly. THAT IS RHE REALITY. But go play hero or whatever bs u think u got going on jacksss
Misrepresented it? So in the future I should just remove all nuance from my mind and follow exactly what u say? Hell I even addressed your misrepresentation of the statutes. I’m sure you TRULY believe she was fleeing, so u THINK you’re right. I believe she WAS charging him, before trying to flee. Once again, NUANCE MATTERS. See we could have a productive conversation on why this happened and our personal opinions on why / if he should have done it, but you can’t handle that! So go be a child!
