It was founded because we were sick of being a colony with no representation and forced to pay massive taxes. The British were also directly violent against colonists with events such as the Boston massacre. This is completely different from what is happening in France, which has a foreign population looting and burning the country. They have no goal other than to rob.

Bro really thinks our ways of dealing with conflict and revolutionizing should be the same as they were 100s of years ago. We have made leaps and bounds in the last hundreds of years and so has our mentality of conflict. Aggressive individuals need to be shamed and held accountable for their behavior. They are bullies and think control is though fear, force, and the loudest voices in the room.

As with every moment of unrest there’s always going to be opportunists, if we stopped defining movements based on the actions of few then maybe we’d better understand why they’re happening in the first place

What if the actions of the few have impacts that affect a large amount of people? I understand that there are millions of people who are actually protesting for school reform, but you can’t just ignore people using that movement for unjustified violence. That hurts both the movement itself and the innocent people in the crosshairs.
