Get rid of them altogether - they’re not helpful, are actively harmful in many instances, and you’ve acknowledged that they aren’t even qualified

I think a good amount aren’t but there are qualified ones. That would do only harm and crime would drastically increase.

perhaps they could spend less money on military surplus instead and perhaps we could pay more social workers and mental health professionals, because if a police officer responds to one of those calls they’re more likely to shoot someone in need of help
