Will slowly become the norm in the western world. People with large platforms banned from traveling to other western countries due to not loving Israel enough. Almost forgot about Kneecap being banned from Canada as well

I feel it’s worth mentioning that UK should never have been considered a bastion of freedom of speech. Libel laws and blasphemy laws for centuries. This isn’t condoning what they’re doing to protect Israel. This is pointing out they aren’t regressing but acting par for the course as censorious and elitist.

There’s more past libel and blasphemy laws to consider, such as colonial rule and the intolerance instilled in the 13 colonies prior to the American revolution. But the most pertinent would be their early efforts at online surveillance in the early 00’s should be noted when looking at British government officials going after Facebook posts 20 years after the fact.
