I think this is just because of Christmas. Of course spending suddenly increased over winter because there were holidays that they had to spend money on. If this lasts into the new year then that would be impressive

This is being entirely driven by consumer spending, though which is not entirely a good thing.

Still stick by with what I said. And the screenshot you sent proves what I said.

This is for the third quarter, we don’t have the numbers from the holiday season yet.

I see. So when the economy does poorly it’s all his fault, but when it does well he has nothing to do with it

A lot of the spending is also being driven by higher income families compared to lower income families, and there are fears that we’re entering into a K shaped economy given that our job numbers aren’t doing too great and bankruptcies are also increasing, especially in the manufacturing sector.

Drawing from the actual source, its not just consumer spending.

This report is good news for the average American any way you spin it. When spending rises, businesses need more hours and more workers, that’s how paychecks and job security improve for regular people.

Yes. He’s not some poor, helpless babe looking to help anyone. Any perceived growth on his part is shareholders and robber barons who paid him directly, at the expense of the average American’s wellbeing. Any good during his terms is in spite of his efforts to destroy people’s livelihoods.

The economy usually does well when the executive mostly leaves it alone. The job of the president is usually mostly just to not screw it up. I guess I can give Donny boy some credit for not fulfilling some of his campaign promises that would have damaged the economy further.
