.gaia.

Liberals, do you really like that it’s this easy for a single administration to strip away our rights? This is the system working as intended. Rules mean nothing when it matters.

Liberals in government allow Trump to have his wins. Maybe another strongly worded letter will help 💀

Liberals in government let him win the election. There is no meaningful difference between liberal and conservative politicians… they just dupe voters

Liberals could seize power if they wanted to.

Bruh, democrats literally fielded a candidate that sucked ass because they couldn’t stomach having popular policies. And they funded maga politicians too

“We wive in a democwacy 😇” and look where following the rules got us. Look where we are now. We have a fascist using the playbook to seize power and consolidate the executive. How about you keep picketing and see where we are in 4 years. I’m sure they’ll be “free and fair elections” then

“Trumps opposition” what the fuck are they opposing. We got Cory booker making grandstand filibusters then voting for their fucken policies. They aren’t opposing anything meaningfully.

So you’d rather we stop living in a democracy?

I’d rather we do what it takes to prevent fascists from taking control of our country.

Voting for Dems clearly wasn’t enough lmao. And now the Dems are throwing hissy fits because they can’t come up with policies to appeal to people. Dems aren’t owed a vote

I agree but the laws put in place decades ago didn’t prevent felons from running. Ideologically speaking it’s against constitutional principles if we stop ideologies from running. So what do you mean “prevent”

If the system can’t prevent fascists from rising, it’s not a good system lmao.

I didn’t say it was. I’m just saying you’re arguing for things that don’t exist and blaming it on people who couldn’t have stopped it

upvote 1 downvote
🌺
Anonymous replying to -> #1 22w

We could stop it. We aren’t obligated to follow rules they aren’t following. We are obligated to do what it takes to prevent fascism from rising. If we keep following rules, then they will take over.

You think fascism is okay because people can be convinced to vote for fascists?

We are obligated to follow constitutional principles. Can you screenshot at all when I said fascism is okay?

🌺
Anonymous replying to -> #1 22w

I mean you essentially said if people vote for it then it’s okay and we can’t stop them if they vote for it.

I didn’t say “it’s okay morally if people vote in fasicsm” I said that people voted him in, and constitutionally speaking we don’t allow people to bar ideologies from running. So you know I didn’t actually say fascism was okay and you still tried to imply I did? Why did you do that?

🌺
Anonymous replying to -> #1 22w

Bruh why are you distracting from the original question at hand? Why is it bad to do what it takes to prevent fascism from rising?

And what does it take, if voting for democrats is soooo awful

🌺
Anonymous replying to -> #4 22w

I mean if democrats can’t meaningfully win elections then it’s up to us to get more creative. In Nazi Germany when the liberals were circulating pamphlets to try and convince people to ignore Hitler and fight him at the ballot box, there were other groups working to undermine the regime.

Why are you telling me I said things I didn’t say in order to substantiate your point? You said that you supported some fascist ideals earlier and I didn’t bring that up.

I was just asking you a question. And if you equate leftism with fascism then boy oh boy are we unable to have a conversation.
