I’m in my last year of student teaching and it’s insane to see the (wildly) different expectations for professionalism, especially with politicians and law enforcement. A local PD posted a bodycam video of this officer just screaaaaming at a 15 year old to “shut the fuck up, get your ass on the fucking ground, shut your fucking mouth, you’re a fucking punk,” on and on. I would be fired before I could even finish saying something like that, I’d also probably moving-out-of state for a new job!

I actually cannot stand seeing how unprofessional and infantile our public officials are getting. I work with TEENAGERS who have better manners and more respect for each other than people who should be held to the highest standard of courtesy. Anyway
