Fun fact, almost every modern aircraft, regardless of country of origin, uses a NACA airfoil in its design because we were the first country to discover and test these profiles (which were discovered when nasa was still naca)

Absolutely, I just think it’s cool that profiles discovered and categorized in the 30’s have such a lasting global impact. One of the few things I have national pride for

Application wise sure but we were the ones who invested the time and money into the groundbreaking research that led to the discovery and classification of these profiles which gave birth to modern aviation as we know it, I just think that bit of history is super cool
