I know but why not pick someone who is pro immigration enforcement who doesn’t do such inhumane things? If you really put yourself in the shoes of the people this is happening to, it’s an insult to our humanity

And again, I referred to people who are literally here legally who have gotten detained unfairly for days to weeks

ICE is legally allowed to detain any non-citizen whether they have legal presence or not, they don’t even need to release them until their adjudication date.

It’s causing economic strain to American citizens and is only benefiting the rich people who benefit from their cheap labor.

Even if you believe that (Personally, I would say the rich people are the ones causing the economic strain in that case), why would you not insist that they go about detaining and deporting people in a humane way?

When ICE intentionally and knowingly detains someone who has a completely valid, lawful status, it is a severe violation of federal law and constitutional rights. It violates the 4th and 5th amendments

Because even when that occurs you people still get offended that deportations are happening at all. And you don’t need to “believe” anything go read the Federal Reserve report or if you don’t believe that, research how the Nordic social safety net is crashing due to increased immigration.

Non-citizens are non-citizens, they don’t get carte blanche U.S. civil liberties as they are non-U.S. citizens. Detention isn’t conserved punitive in that case.
