And he’s absolutely right. When you have a gun you have to be smart about it. That’s why we have free speech yet you can’t just tell bomb inside a movie theater

The second amendment gives me the right to carry my gun bro. Sorry.

Please elaborate on what being “smart about it” means. Should someone with a concealed carry license be allowed to conceal carry a weapon?

Yes but don’t run up to an officer with it or interfere with a lawful operation. They don’t know what’s going on in your mind or what you have on you.

It wouldn’t matter because running up to an officer with a concealed carry, which you’re legally allowed to have, doesn’t permit the officer to disarm you, pin you down, and unload an entire magazine into your back. That’s still murder.

He did NOT have his gun out for the record. the video clearly shows him holding a phone to record.

Not when you are charging. That’s aggravated assault. And he did make physical contact at one point

Why couldn’t he just stayed home. None of this shit would’ve happened. I feel so bad for the man especially bc he was a vet

If someone with a valid CCL doesn’t reach for or brandish their weapon, that doesn’t mean they deserve to get shot 10 times

He didn’t have is CCL on him or any identification which made it illegal for him to carry anyways. That’s where he fucked up

Okay so then charge him with not carrying an ID or whatever the appropriate charges would be? He still never brandished or reached for the weapon so idk how that would justify getting shot 10 times

Plus the agents disarmed him before they started shooting so make that make sense

Because he was illegally possessing a firearm. At that point the officers are in fear for their lives and have to make split second decisions. Person A is illegally possessing a gun and has access so we have to eliminate the threat. This isn’t a movie. It’s real life. You sound like the type of person to say why didn’t the cop shoot a car’s tires to stop it 🤣

Ok but the other agents didn’t know that yet

Anyways my point still stands. He should’ve just stayed home and minded his own business. He’d be alive and we’d be arguing about some other bullshit not this. My condolences goes out to his friends and family. Don’t want to talk about this anymore

Also he possessed that firearm legally. Also you’re right, this isn’t a movie. In real life, federal officers cannot shoot a man who’s pinned to the floor. That’s murder. No clear harm is presented by a man pinned to the ground.

At that point in time he was not legally possessing the firearm since he did not have his identification. So he illegally had his firearm and approached ice officers

What? Which one of those answered my question, which is “where did you hear he didn’t have identification on him?” The Facebook link? Cause please just take a screenshot and send that, not a link. I can’t click or copy that.

Dude they wouldn’t have known he was holding the weapon illegally until after they shot him

What were the other sources, because I’m not trusting an “internal investigation” by the people who pinned a man down and shot him a dozen times. I figure they might be biased.
